Public events from the tenant workspace

Workspace users can create events and tenant-site event blocks render only upcoming published public events with registration forms where enabled.

  • Draft, cancelled, archived and already-ended events stay out of public lists.
  • Event data includes category, location, speaker, capacity, recurrence, reminder and registration settings.
  • Recurring events expand into upcoming website dates, and public registrations now store the selected occurrence for attendance and reminders.
  • Free and paid public registrations capture attendee details, reject duplicate active email registrations for the same occurrence even under concurrent submissions, rate-limit repeated public requests and waitlist over-capacity submissions.
  • Paid registrations create Stripe PaymentIntents and send tenant-branded confirmation emails after payment is verified.
  • Workspace users can add attendees for selected occurrences, review occurrence summary cards, filter attendees by date/status, review payment/refund status, see occurrence labels, check people in, cancel registrations, refund paid places and export filtered CSV attendee lists.
  • Stripe refund events reconcile event registration refund records without double-counting dashboard-created refunds.
  • Hourly automated reminder checks send due event reminders to matching occurrence attendees through verified tenant sender domains or the MAS fallback sender, with transient-send retry and operator-visible failed/stale delivery state.

Booking requests with capacity and overlap checks

Booking requests use the same central service whether submitted by staff or through public tenant-site forms.

  • Resources can store capacity, location, deposit and rate details.
  • Requests validate date order, capacity, overlapping requested/approved bookings and repeated public submissions.
  • Hourly resources can calculate total hire and remaining balance amounts from requested times.
  • Tenant-site forms can hand requesters into Stripe deposit payment after a payable request is accepted.
  • Staff can generate and cancel reusable rate-limited deposit or balance payment links for payable bookings.
  • Cancelled bookings close unused pay-later links, and staff can issue full or partial refunds for paid booking deposits and balances.
  • Stripe refund events reconcile booking refund records if a refund is updated outside the immediate dashboard action.
  • Public requests notify booking-capable staff, and status changes can send requester emails.

Can visitors request a mosque room from the public website?

Yes, where a tenant site includes a booking block and has active resources, visitors can submit a public booking request without a MAS account.

Can visitors register for public events?

Yes, free and paid public event registrations are live for published events with registration enabled. Recurring event registrations target the selected occurrence shown on the mosque website. Paid registrations collect card payment before the confirmation email is sent, while workspace teams can add attendees for selected occurrences and manage attendee status, check-in and paid registration refunds.

Does MAS support paid bookings today?

Booking resources can store deposit and rate settings. Tenant-site forms can estimate hourly totals and collect a same-session deposit after a public request is accepted. Staff can generate or cancel reusable deposit and balance payment links, cancel bookings without leaving unused links active, and issue full or partial refunds for paid booking deposits and balances. Stripe refund webhooks reconcile booking refund records.
